This is for those audiophile types among us (like me :) )

NewEgg is now carrying Martin Logan (http://promotions.newegg.com/martinlogan/11-0647/index.html?cm_sp=Homepage_LB-_-martinlogan/11-0647-_-http%3a%2f%2fpromotions.newegg.com%2fmartinlogan%2 f11-0647%2f980x130.jpg) equipment. They are one of the few remaining American "High End" speaker manufactures. Martin Logan is well renowned for bringing a stable, reliable and high quality full range electrostatic speaker system to market. They have consistently raised the bar in sound reproduction. If you ever get a chance, audition a Martin Logan setup. I promise that you will be seriously impressed.

Thatīs great.

I (of course) have a danish setup.

NAD receiver:
http://nadelectronics.com/home
Good quality at reasonable cost. I paid around 800$ for my receiver.

paired with Dali Speakers:
http://www.dali.dk/

Again...Good quality and good cost. Speakers cost me 2700$ all together...

And I am using cheap Altech speakers on the computer and just the speakers on the TV for my viewing pleasure. I am what they call a real purist....if it works don't mess with it. I wouldn't even know how to hook up receivers and speakers etc.

Well, now you figured out why I really were mad about not being able to play Blu-Ray...
(I still havenīt given up on doing a Linux install at some point)

We use the system almost every day, and itīs nearly 8 years old now...I am hoping it will last at least some more years...I canīt afford to replace it...:D

Really nice setup Beer. NAD has been around for many years with a solid standing in the industry. Dali is a company I have not heard much about because I'm not nearly as "Into the hobby" as I used to be.

My current setup

Speakers.
KEF 103/4 (http://www.kef.com/history/en/1990_1/model_103_4.asp) (retailed for $2,500 in 93')

Tuner/PreAmp
Adcom GTP-500 II - Pic (http://www.fmtunerinfo.com/GTP-500II.jpg)

Amp
Kenwood Basic M1D - Pic/info (http://www.drmaudioht.com/Amplifiers.htm)

Obviously this setup is old but you would be very hard pressed to match its sound quality for money spent.

Very nice Firestorm!

Maybe we should do another thread...We could call it: Show me your sound-setup....or something...:o

Don't own a tv. Watch everything and listen to all my music on the computer. Because of that, I spend a few extra bucks on my computer speakers:

That makes two of us. I have not owned a TV since 98'. There is one in my room here but its my uncles. I haven't used it in almost a year and a half.

Cool setup joker. Does that logitech system connect via USB port?

@Beer: That sounds cool to me. The honor of starting it is yours.

My main speakers are B&W 801's series 3. I've had them quite a while now and they still amaze me after all this time.
