Just out of curiosity, anyone know the numbers on what Nvidia cards will do in lets say....Primegrid.
Ill be more specific to start out. What would a 460 GTX put out VS a 480 GTX?

Not sure in exact credit numbers, but this post should help...
Thx Max, it was. Next dumb question (as you all know, I am full of them). Can 2 Nvidia cards run in a Crossfire MB if one of the cards has a dummy plug?
NVidia cards don't need dummy plugs (and I believe it is called SLI mode) - So I can't see why not, but it would be entirely unnecessary...
Indeed, if one has an SLI motherboard it would be in SLI if I "connected" them. Alas, I have a Crossfire motherboard (SLI is Nvidia and Crossfire is ATI) so my question is, can I run 2 nvidia cards in a Crossfire motherboard?
@ Harley. What card are you running? I mean what brand.
Calling it a CrossfireX or SLI MB is meaningless. Its just a certification. Meaning it has been tested by ATI/AMD or NVIDIA. ATI and NVIDIA build their cards to the PCIe standards. MB manufacturers use the same standards. As long as its not a no-name brand MB you’ll be Ok. In other words its just a marketing scheme.
