App_Config New Feature: project_max_concurrent
Starting with BOINC Version 7.4.9 this instruction limits the number of running jobs for a project - regardless of how many of that project's apps you are using.
<project_max_concurrent>N</project_max_concurrent>
This a very useful development for projects like WCG, Primegrid, BU and others that have many apps or sub-projects!

I'm bad with version numbering - that feature is in 7.4.9. Does that mean the current version of BOINC, 7.4.27 will have that feature in there? I mean, I know that 27 >9, but 9 > 2, so I'm confused. :/

Good question. I've seen the BOINC devs mis-number the manager versions many times. So in this case, it could mean 7.4.09 or 7.4.90. Counting properly is beyond them.

It works on 7.4.27, so...

That's the key bit of information. Thanks! I haven't upgraded yet, but will likely do so soon.
Re: App_Config New Feature: project_max_concurrent
They never use leading zeros after the decimal. Matter of fact, that's not a decimal point, it's simply a separator. So 27 > 9. (How many numbers have you ever seen with two decimal points??? Unless you're European, and then you need 3 digits between each "." :) )
