Hey Team...
I nocticed that we actually had a very decent output on FreeHal yesterday...Yep, thatīs rigth...Almost ― Mill CS done on FreeHal...
Itīs so easy points to obtain, that everyone with 1GB ram or more should be doing this!!!

I agree. Now that they have fixed it to were you have many choices on how to run it. You can have cpu intensive, non-intensive and now you can run both with your choice of 1 core or multi cores depending on what you are running in your system.
CI WUs take about 1 hour. NCI WUs take about 4 hours. If you allow more than one CI WU on your machine, you're going to be eating up a lot of your processors, and not doing nearly as well with other CPU projects. I'm allowing 1 NCI/core on my machines, and am really happy with the output. Doesn't interfere much with CPU crunching that way.
It's the first project I attach to.. All 3 rigs are running it now :)
What is this FreeHal you speak of?? :p
It's been down for the weekend, but it's back up now. Check you machines, as they may be working off a really long back-off. Get them going again manually if you have to.

Check it out at the above URL. Runs using next to nothing for processor resources and is like free credit.
That was a little joke.Quote:

Have they gone back to running 25 WUs simultaneously with little or no CPU? If not, I don't see a reason to crunch this one. SIMAP and several other projects don't have enough WUs to go around but they don't limit machines to one at a time, but that's just my opinion. I'm guessing my boxes get more credit per cpu second on AQUA anyway.
