Looks like it more or less held its own in (very select, CPU full out crunching benchmarks) against an i7 6900K with a TDP of 95W.
This is a good thing. Now, I hope the final version that goes on sale early 2017 is the real deal we've been waiting for. Force those competition wars again! :)
