BOINC or Network/Internet issue with Latin Squares

The project Latin Squares looks to be a sister project of ODLK

Free-dc uses the URL http://boinc.multi-pool.info/latinsquares/
the website says to use http://78.26.93.125/latinsquares/ to join

Both URLs work on the machine I'm writing this from. On the same wireless network, my t5600 host windows and guest linux vms
cannot access either URL, they time out.

What reasons would there be that one of my computers reaches fine and the other does not? Not firewalled on my end.
