    Talk about points!

Started Primegrid last week with 3 gpus running part time with Folding at Home. Decided to just turn them onto Primegrid when I saw the points. Over 2,250,000 points in less then a week. Thanks Dr. Pop for recommending the program. Running a GTX 460 oc, Gtx 260 oc and a GTS 9800 also an oc model.
Now all I have to do is figure out how to get a 9600GSO running alongside my GTX 260. I have a slot open so it will go in just have to figure out the set up so Prime will run on both cards. Look out here I come!

I just started running an overclocked GTX 580. It does a packet in 8.5 minutes. I theory that should net me 750,000 a day. Does anyone know how good the points in Prime Grid are for an ATI card? I'm currently running DNET with my 5870 and getting around 300,000 a day.

PG credits are terrible with ATI - the app was written in OpenCL which runs terribly inefficiently on the ATI platform. I'd ballpark ~100k/day on PG with a 5870...

    +1

Keep your ATI cards on DNETC, MW, collatz, PG...in that order.

Ok all you techies out there. How do I get the GSO 9600 working on Primegrid. I installed it in slot 01 with the GTX 460 on slot 0. Boinc is not crunching on the 9600 but EVGA Precision says that the card is there. Is there a command line or do I have to install another instance of Boinc?

You can try this in your cc_config.xml:

    <use_all_gpus>0|1</use_all_gpus>
If 1, use all GPUs (otherwise only the most capable ones are used). New in 6.6.25

    Re: Talk about points!

Had to make a cc_config file in the hidden data folder but got it set up and put the script in as shown and no luck. Evga precision still shows only 1 gpu being used. Did read config and shut Boinc down and restarted. Only 1 Primegrid running.
