Hunt? A flock of about 10 turkeys seem to love hanging out in my back yard, and crapping all over the place. Hungry? All you need is a stick.

I's also mating season, and the toms are DAMN LOUD.

Story behind photos 8-20:

So I hear this loud banging from the back of the house. It turns out the noise was caused by the smaller (younger?) of the two toms, banging on the glass door with his beak. Not sure if he maybe saw his reflection and wanted to fight it, or mate with it, or what. Anyway, I walk right up so that we are nose to nose, separated only by the glass, but he keeps at it. The best part is when the BIG tom comes up behind him and starts kicking his ass. Hilarious! And he kept coming back to bang on the door every 15 minutes or so, for a couple of days.

Too far to go to hit turkeys with a stick, but I know my son would love to put an arrow in a couple. Maybe for additional ammusement, you could put a couple of mirrors out there and have a brawl!
