MW: 2 WUs when in Crossfire?

For some reason I thought that when in crossfire, the two GPUs would crunch together on a single WU. In MW on Kat's rig with the new HD4870's from Shadow in CrossFire, MW is crunching 2 WUs, a single one on each card.
    Is this normal? Thanks!

Yes. BOINC still sees them as separate GPUs.

Depends on the project. DNET/Moo will use both cards on the same WU. MW crunches a WU on each GPU.

OK, thanks guys. Looks like all is working well, then. Half the day gone and she is at 75K for MW today. I might have to O/C these 4870's a little more.

Crossfire (or not) is invisible to BOINC. One project app (moo/dnetc) will run on all GPUs, like AQUA does on CPUs. The rest treat GPUs individually, CF or not.

Have you had much luck running MOO with multiple GPUs in a single system? You may have posted this in another thread but if you did, I have not seen it.

Not yet, but I think I may have a PSU issue. I have a replacement arriving on Monday.

LOL! Keep that book ON THE SHELF! I think his looks intentional, though... Mine was NOT! At least I got a new CPU and Mobo out of the deal...I have to say both Fry's and MSI were a pleasure t deal with.
