    I've always wanted to try FreeBSD. I tried to install it on my IBM Power once, but that was a no-go. Some day I'll get it installed somewhere and give it a whirl.

    Me too. Maybe this will give me a reason to actually try it out. My Fedora 11 box would be a good candidate, but it never has any issues so why cause one.

    I haven't used it since v4.0. Used to have a subscription where they would send you the CD-ROMs every time there was a new release -- back before broadband when you really didn't want to download 4 CD-ROMs over a 56K modem.
