Question What happened to the old 'new board'?

When did we switch from http://setiusa.free-dc.org/forum/index.php to here? Somehow I got out of the loop.

I will certainly be corrected if I'm wrong, but I think it was when we decided to go with vBulletin.

Probably. And the fact that Bok so generously offered to host it...

yes, old one is still there too for now. We'll move this one 'back' a level at some point soon, so you won't need the /vbforums part given the landing page is the CMS from vBulletin anyway.

vBulletin is far superior to SMF, at least IMHO

Since you so kindly purchased VBulletin for us, Mr. Hankey, do you want to just drop the SMF one? I mean, we don't really need it now, right?

Yes it is superior in what it can do but as to being user friendly well that's another story.

    But hey what ever works..

We still have people registering on the OLD OLD boards. I try to catch them when I see them and send a PM to point them here. Can we get something set up to automatically direct them here when they hit the register link on the OLD OLD boards?

Or...we can always *hint* to Mr. Hankey that this one is GREAT and let's just switch it over soon.

Actually, I think his target was around Thanksgiving, so swiftly approaching...
