Maintenance day.....

So I was having problems getting my gtx570s to crunch the new genefer llr taks over at prime grid, and I had had problems with them on gpugrid too... after much discussion I thought I would give a try on moving them to a different box. Today was the day

Crawled under the house pulled two boxes up, and noticed the third box had a dead fan ... great. Swapped the power supplies and all four gpus got the two boxes working again. Looks like swapping the cards worked and the Genefer llr tasks are crunching away.

Crawled back under the house put the two boxes back and pulled the third with the dead fan. Now all I got to do is order a new fan, install it, and put it back under the house.. YAY!

There is a trap door in my closet so at least I don't have to go outside. Ordered the fan so it should be here this week.

I've thought about doing that. It would save us from getting drenched going outside to get to the crawl space for tornado warnings.
