1st, there is another system in my crunching garden, thanks to DrPop. And Trinity is her name.
Over the last few days, I've been working on trying to get my systems stable. Lost one of the 5870s I received from zombie. Turns out some of the VRMs are failing. When the card starts crunching, several of the VRMs temps, in a not so slow fashion, begin rising higher then normal until several of them pass 106C then they go into thermal runaway and the card crashes hard. Took awhile to figure this out as I have personally never witnessed a GPU do this.....

Also been working on the R6970 EmSti sent. UPS beat the f'n crap out of it!!! Cooler is almost fubar. Circuit board is in good shape. Keep your fingers crossed on the rest...
