Got back home at 2am. I've reset the CMOS this morning and the drives all mounted, but after running some mysql checks, after about 15mins started getting the same drive failures. I'm still going to run more checks to determine if it is indeed the SSD. I have the spare now, so can get that in if needed.
But perhaps it is the mobo. The PSU checks out ok.
If it comes to it, what would you all recommend for a mobo? It needs to support the core-i7 2600k, 32Gb Memory and 4 SATA 3 channels. I don't plan on overclocking at all. Perhaps a server class board might be better.
