    i revisited dnetc do to MW being down. I nabed one of the 6xxx WU this time, and also retuned the power utilization so its not throtteling the GPU, i can now do a WU in around 800-810 seconds (about 13.5 min). much better than the 58min i was getting earlier!

    Now, that's much more like it! I thought Anandtech found some way to just turn that power tune stuff off? Might be worth a read in their 6970 review maybe?
