    New Corsair H90 and H110

    H90 - $100

    H110- $130

Seems Corsair finally got Asetek's 140 and 280mm designs previously exclusive to the Kraken.

And the Kraken isn't due to be released for sale until next week according to NZXT's site (Link)

Edit: What I'd really like to see is a 280mm version of Swiftech's H220 (Link)

I have one of the double-wide (H100?) from the previous gen. Turns out that it didn't actually cool any better than the single wide version, according to the review I posted a while back. I would like to see that same review with the new versions...

That would just be insane considering:

The first Swiftech, Corsair and Thermaltake temps are from using an i7-3960X. The temp from the second Swiftech with the 2 GTX 680's added into the loop, as well as additional rads, is from an i7-3770K.

If Swiftech made a 280mm, our CPUs would be room temperature

Edit: Oh wait. I just remembered Swiftech does make a 360mm.

220 or 320 with pump integrated in the radiator - Edge HD series

You are referring to rad size? H60 = 120x 120 and H100 = 240 x 120? I currently have an H60 & H100. The H100 replaced my original H50 and it does cool much better. I RMA'd the H50 and received the H60 in return. It seems that the H60 does slightly better then the H50 but that could just be subjective on my part.

Well a 280 x 140 can't hurt.... I'm much more interested in a dual 140 rad which is why I was psyched with the news of the Kraken. But now that Swiftech is releasing the H220 I think that will be the one to save up for. Maybe by the time I have the funds Swiftech will announce the dual 140 version...

Re: New Corsair H90 and H110

I'm running the H80 on most of my Box's & it does a great job even at 4.5Ghz, I had some H70's already in use & they even do an acceptable job but the H80 is definitely better by about 5c or so. I really don't see getting & paying extra for the H90 & H100 Models when they don't really do any better of a job than the H80 does ... IMO

Well STE\/E - you have plenty of experience with the H80 - if you say that it does a great job, even at 4.5Ghz, good enough. That much experience pretty much makes it a fact (IMO)...
If I go water, I'll go with the H80

    Swiftech always wins.

Keep in mind the 220 F$ linked is a newer model than the Edge HD used in this test done on July 31, 2012. The 220s are meant to directly outperform the H100. The 320s are useless unless you're cooling more than just the CPU. No one needs a 360mm rad on the CPU only.

Another thing you have to consider when ordering these self contained Liquid Coolers is the size of your case. Unless you have a Full Tower with Dual 120mm Fans on the back of the Case anything over a H80 probably isn't going to work unless you do some modifying of the case ...

If you take a good look at any decent Mid tower case made in say the last 4 or 5 years, a good percentage of them will accept dual 120 fans. My HAF 912 2 $59.99 (Link) will accept a dual 120 fan/rad setup (top mounted). Actually the 912 has dual front mounted 120mm fans and with a little mod, a dual 120 rad can sit there. The fact is many cases (Mid/Full) for under $100, and more then a handful under $60, will work.
