Good point. Running a Thermaltake level 10 GT. It might fit the larger cooler - but no point if the H80 is smaller, a little cheaper, and nearly as good. H80 would be the way I would go if I decide to overclock and air can't handle it.

My HAF 912 2 $59.99 (Link) will accept a dual 120 fan/rad setup (top mounted). Actually the 912 has dual front mounted 120mm fans and with a little mod, a dual 120 rad can sit there. The fact is many cases (Mid/Full) for under $100, and more then a handful under $60, will work.
It's still something to consider, I read in the sellers forum at AMAZON the main reason many of the H100 or even the H80's get returned is because they won't fit in the original buyers Case. Good for me though as I get to pick them up a lot cheaper. My ANTEC 900's which I think are a pretty good Mid Size Case (Some may even think of it as a Full Tower Case) only has 1 120mm Fan in the back and something like a H100 won't work the way it was intended to. Maybe with some Mod's you could get it to work on the 900 but it isn't a Case your just going to bolt the H100 into with no problems. My 912's have dual 120 Fans and will work though.

I picked up a new & unused H100 (H100 & not the H100i, to many prob's with the H100i from what I've read) this morning for $72 just to give it a try & compare it against my H80's. From what I've read the reason the H80's work so good is that they have a new style Heat Block compared to some of the other Corsair Models , whatever they seem to work very good.

FWIW, the double wide form factor (H100) fits to the top of the HAF-X like they are made for each other. But yeah, what's the point? The H80 cools just as well.

Very true. When i first put the guts in my HAF X i had a 240mm rad in the top, mounted under the 2 200mm fans. Not long after that i replaced the 240mm rad with a 360mm. It also fit perfectly, except you then couldn't use the top-most 5.25" drive bay, which was no big deal since i only needed 1 bay for the DVD drive anyway. The top bay could still be used for shorter profile gadgets, like fan controllers.

The computer i'm on now has a cheap Antec 300 case (costs somewhere around $40) and it can take a 240mm rad in the front panel, or a 140mm rad (like the Kraken X40) in the top exhaust.

So since i started thinking about it, i ordered a Kraken X40 yesterday from TigerDirect. Should be here eventually and we'll see how it goes.

Looking at the sites that even list the X60, average price is $137.99. On Swiftech's site for the H220, they have that unit listed for $139.99. But it's not due to be released until the end of Feb. Maybe around mid summer I'll be able to afford it...

Of course i'd much rather have the Swiftech, but no need for a 240mm+ rad in this case. It's just my "blahblah" computer. Nothing special. Of course my badboy Maxwell Spanker is completely outfitted with Swiftech But it's 250 miles away in a storage unit lol

I'm interested to see what this Kraken X40 can do though. I'll just mount it to the top exhaust hole (which is 140mm) and hopefully i'll be able to overclock a bit (Core 2 Q9550 @ 2.83GHz). Then i'll upgrade it to a 2500K.

Nice! Seems to be on par with the Kraken X60, except the Swiftech is smaller

And it's the ONLY All-In-One system that can be expanded. This will allow a user build a fully water cooled system, CPU, GPU(s), MB chipset, etc., and spread out the cost over time. I just wish Swiftech had done this sooner.
