    Free DDR3 2gb SO-DIMMs

I have 5x DDR3 2gb SO-DIMMs (PC3-12800). Free to any team mates who need them, and will use them for crunching (not resell).

To be clear, these are SO-DIMM used in all laptops, mac mini, iMACs, etc. Not the kind used in desktop machines.

    I now have 13x 2gb and 4x 4gb SO DIMMs.

Free to any team mates who need them, and will use them for crunching (not resell).

    Any takers?

Depends on the actual DIMMs. These were pull from all the mac minis I bought, when upgrading them to 16gb. They range from PC3-8500 to PC3-12800.

    Re: Free DDR3 2gb SO-DIMMs

If your laptop uses SO DIMMs, then yes, they should work fine. But you need to figure out how many slots they have, and what is already in there. For example, if you have two slots, already populated with two 2gb DIMMs, then more 2gb DIMMs won't help.

    There's 2 Module's but their DDR2 Memory, not sure if 2x4 DDR3 Dimm's would even work then ?

DDR2 and DDR3 are physically different.
