Thermaltake Impresses With New PSU Line

Goodbye analog circuits, welcome Thermaltake's all new digital PSUs.

The new DPS (Digital Power Supply) line allows the user to actually monitor the PSU, view real-time wattage usage, temps, voltages, amps, efficiency, control the fan speed, it'll even tell you how much it's costing on your electric bill. Bet you never had a PSU that allowed you to do any of that before.

Currently only available in 750W and 850W 80+ Gold. Platinum is coming soon.

Man, that is a lot of dough for an 850W PSU, but how cool is that?!

$219.99 MSRP? Not all that steep for the 850W, but yes, high. But with a 7 year warranty? That's gotta be worth something.

I think the price at Newegg is a bit high too, but from the review i read, MSRP is only $199. Newegg just tacked on an extra $20 as they usually do for brand new items. I hate that they do that.

Yeah, there is just something psychological about going over that $199 mark!
