I would like to take the time to thank all you who volunteer your computer time and resources, especially at this time of year when we consider the ultimate gift given to all of us. In return, I have given each active participant (RAC > 100) a small gift in appreciation of your efforts. Thank you, and please remember the true meaning of Christmas as we all celebrate this holiday season.

Just keep an eye out for the credit kops. Giving out 155 million free credits probably pissed a lot of people off even if it was 25K per user.

You could always justify it by saying you were making it up to users who lost credits due to a bad batch of workunits, server issues, etc.
