I've been running OProject ALX since you posted about it a couple weeks ago. I was worried that something was wrong, because as of yesterday I had over 2000 pending tasks with no valid/invalid... but today a few started validating!Ding!
2.5m @ Oproject! Gotta love those free NCI credits! That is my 28th, but no change to my rank. Only 24 away from Mumps now.
The app has a quirk - on most computers the ALX task completes before the project back-off time of 10 minutes. So when BOINC requests a new task, the back-off gets reset creating a fair amount of down time. Sometimes it gets another WU on its own, sometimes I have to manually update. Probably best to put BOINC Updater on this with an interval of 15 minutes or so?
I don't use BPU for ALX. Just let BOINC do it's thing. Remember to add it to any VMs you have running too.
