So, my wife spilled coffee and creamer into the keyboard of her laptop yesterday. So I upgraded her to a new laptop as this one is showing little life. I dismantled it and found hazelnut smelling creamer on pretty much every part. Looking for ideas on the best way to clean such a mess that would give it the best chance of resurrection.
Yes, alcohol and a soft brush would be the thing to try. Use something like a 1/4 to 1/2 inch painter's brush.
New build up and running. New I7 6700K, Asus Z170 ProGamer Motherboard, Liquid Cooler, 16gb GSkill 3000mhz memory, 2 WD black 1 TB Hdd, 1 Crucial 240 GB SSD. Just starting to load drivers and Boinc. Still havve to install 2x Evga GTX 960's.

OK here we go again. No gpu's detectedd. I have changed the gpu's (put in a couple of 570's), removed all nvieia drivers and re-installed the latest, re-installed Boinc with no results. Both gpu's show up in device manager and in MSI Afterburner. Here is part of the Boinc log:

There is discussion on the boinc_dev maillist that that is a known critical bug with 7.6.33. You'll need to get back to an older release of BOINC.
Thanks Mumps. Went back to 7.6.22 with the same results.

Is it just GPUGrid that doesn't see it or the BoincClient? When BoincClient was started, did the Event Log show that it recognized the GPUs? Ok, I see that was the Boinc Client Event Log.
What version Nvidia driver. Maybe try an older one.
