Just to let all of you know. My son Sean has just been elected Mayor of Porta Torres Italy. He won with over 72% of the vote, not a bad margain for a first time run. So any of you going to Porta Torres I have an inside track.

That makes him a "Big Guy" in the town. Congrats. Having spent 2 years in Verona, Italy I really appreciate the scenery. That town is near Gorizia and I have been to Gorizia in the winter. Great area.

sure how could I not be, an American born son now the mayor of an city in Italy, kind of different.
