On 2 August 2015, 07:43:42 UTC, PrimeGrid’s Mega Prime Search found the Mega Prime:135*2^3518338+1The prime is 1,059,128 digits long and enters Chris Caldwell's The Largest Known Primes Database ranked 107th overall.The discovery was made by Evelyn Chew (Crackenback) of Australia using an Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2603 0 @ 1.80GHz with 8GB RAM, running Microsoft Windows Server 2008. This computer took about 2 hours 57 minutes to complete the primality test using LLR. Evelyn is a member of the BOINC@AUSTRALIA team.The prime was verified on 2 August 2015, 09:09:01 UTC, by Paulo Silva (Cyph3r) of Portugal using an Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2670 0 @ 2.60GHz with 60GB RAM, running Linux.
