    Failure!

Lost the LAN on my P8Z68V-Gen 3 Asus board with a 2600K CPU. I hated to do it but I had to order another board (old one was 4 years old) and of course I had to upgrade the CPU as well to a 4790K. Should have them by Thursday I hope. Plus I just scored a EVGA GTX 960 used for just over $100. I hope it runs as good as I think it will. Card looks new with no dust on fans. It is the SSC model with ACX cooling.

RETIRED. NO JOB. NO MONEY. NO WORRIES!

Crunched SETI Classic to the end.

Couldn't have gone with a pci network card be it wired or wireless? Doesn't matter, I like your solution better. The 4790k looks to be a beast for the prices. By scored, you mean off ebay?

No on eBay. I picked it up from a computer that was going out of business. Yes I could have ggone with a LAN card except I still lost a video card slot. Hate to lose GPU computing. I already have 1 4790K and love it now all I have yo do is figure out how to replace my 3770K
