Win10 coming to a computer near you.... by force!

This is for anyone getting that nagging system tray notice asking you to upgrade to Windows 10. In about 2 weeks that notice will go away. And, if you have your Vista/Win7 system set for auto updates, Win10 will self install whether you want it or not.

This of course is total bullshit. But, until the public stands up for itself and sues M$ into oblivion, Redmond will continue this communist practice of deciding what is best/right for it's user base. And if allowed unchecked, I can promise you other brands will copy this behavior.

After the original install and initial update I always turn off updates. I also use GWX as an extra measure of protection.

In windows 10 there is no way to turn off updates, but the way to do it is to control panel/administrative tools/services/windows update there you can turn it off and it works.
