    Latest Intel Compute Stick

Wonder what kind of crunching these could do when they come down in price? Not too bad looking for a 7W USB stick computer!

Looks pretty neat but for 3 bills or more?? I picked up two dl580g7's for $200each, and I have one populated with 2 hyper-threading 10 cores for that cost point. just scored another 10 core cpu for 60 bucks for it, one socket left open.

I love new stuff but hate to pay for it, old servers are a bargain is what I believe for what we do.

    Just my rambling

Those compute sticks were pretty neat for $120 or less, but $390? No way. Especially when for a little more you can get an Intel NUC or a Gigabyte Brix that's probably 6x more powerful, if not more.

Yeah, sorry I wasn't looking at the price, just how much power they had packed into a USB stick. Their asking price is certainly a bit steep. Maybe will come back down in time, we can hope!
