Small GPU with no extra power requirement?

We've got an older friend who I'm trying to help figure out why his computer keeps having a glitch. I think I've got it down to the GPU isn't fully compatible with Windows 10. It's an older AMD 760 chipset board with the built-in Radeon 3000 for a GPU. The CPU is an AMD 6300-FX (Vishera) with 8GB of DDR3 1600 RAM.
So I think everything else is up to snuff but the GPU is using an older driver because they don't have a Win10 driver for it.

Is there any somewhat inexpenisve GPU that I can get for him that will use PCI-e slot only, and no extra 6 pin off the power supply that is fully Win10 compatible? I don't know anything about lower end GPUs, only bigger ones for crunching.

The most this GPU will ever do besides run Win10 is probably MS Office and Youtube videos. Thanks for any suggestions!

Newegg had GT 720's on sale today but they sold out hours ago. Something like that would work fine

Best buy has some GPU's on sale right now, saw a couple for $99.

Power requirements are on the box, so one can take their pick.

This should work and the price isn't bad.

OK thanks guys, I'll look at the 720 then. I think anything would be a big step up from what's on the motherboard! I just don't know if his PSU has a 6 pin, and I'd rather not find out the hard way...not to mention he doesn't need a big GPU, so no sense in making him buy what he won't ever use.
    Appreciate the help!

Looks like Fry's has this 730 on promo code for $50. That sound reasonable? I could just drive over there and pick it up after work for him if you guys think that card is fine?

I have a 730 running on Boinc so for $50 it should be a good deal especially if you can pick it up.

Saw an Nvidia 750 at best buy not too long ago, takes power from PCI-e slot, no 12v rails required.
If one wants to go that route

OK, for some reason I thought the 750 took the extra power 6pin, but maybe not? I'll look into that as well. Not sure if they have that one on sale too, I just saw they had the 730 on sale from a promocode email I got.
