Haha! Was wondering if you'd actually post.

So, tunes in the truck are done for now.

    Ended up going with:
    Installed:
    Headunit: Sony XAV-60
Paid about half of MSRP for it.

    Amp: Cadence Xa175
350 watts RMS, plenty of hit.

    Subwoofer: SSA DCON 12"

Just amazing. Best sub I've ever owned. Tight, but still with reach. Hits hard and low, but plays rock music just as well.

    (Mostly) Finished install:

It's centered now, with tie-down straps to the cargo hooks.

So that's it for now. I love it, but when I said we'd missed a few updates... well... I don't drive the truck any more! My girlfriend does... my new ride (clicky for bigger):

Sadly, the audio in it is awful haha. Now I have audio envy for a system I built!

Sweet system. I've never had the opportunity to hear an SSA sub. So I empathize with the audio envy

And Dude!!! That new ride is the Nissan 350z, if I'm not mistaken?

Letting the girlfriend drive the better sound system is a sign of True Love.

370Z actually, with the full Nismo S-Tune body kit, upgraded radio with sub (just not a good setup, guy was a noob), Stillen G3 intake, cat-back exhaust, and a tune. Desperately needs front tires though. I replaced the rears, but the fronts were on 8 week back order, and now I don't have the money. D'oh!

Nice! I *love* the look of the 370Z. Badass! There was something "off" with the 350Z, IMO. The lines just didn't work. Also, that funky strut bar in the back. Ugh.
