How does that AMD RX VEGA 64 compare to anything NV wise? I'm not sure I'm even in the market, but for that price I *could* be? lol... Wouldn't mind something that can game better than a GTX 1060 6GB at 2K (have a 32" 2K monitor is why - might upgrade to 4K at some point but my GPU can't run that, so that's why the 2K right now...)

In gaming it's generally faster than a GTX 1080 but slower than a 1080 Ti, so basically it stomps the crap out of a 1060

In compute performance, here's a few benches: https://www.anandtech.com/show/11717...d-56-review/17 The GTX 1080 is about 8% faster on average when FP64 isn't considered. The cheapest 1080 right now is $440: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...-398-_-Product but goes off sale in 3 days. Next cheapest is $470

A little off topic but SSDs are dirt cheap right now too. Definitely worth checking them out https://www.newegg.com/Storage/Event...46?N=100011692
