Thanks for posting. First I'm hearing about it and I try to keep up with these things. Looks like we're in for a pretty decent sky show when it gets close. Zombie, maybe if you put all your machines under my account, you will be able to go out and enjoy the few days you have left. :)

You know that calendars in history never match up. 12/21/12 could be a little off

Who needs to worry? At .233 AU, that's 90 times farther away than the moon. :)

But my daughters 11th birthday sure will be special! :D

My b-day is on October 17th :p At the current projection, of course it won't hit us. However it hasn't gone through the asteroid belt yet so watch for updated paths. Also, soon after it passes, we will be hurled through the comet's debris trail. Good times.
