Z600 with 2x X5650 CPUs (12 cores/24 threads), 48 GB (6x 8GB) DDR3 1333Mhz ECC RAM, 500GB HD, GTX 750ti (with 6 pin power). System is setup as dual boot with 264GB partition with a unregistered copy of Win7 64 Pro and 200GB partition with Linux Mint 17.3. Ready to crunch under Win64 or Linux. Tech support included (for most of you). Asking $400+shipping. I'll certainly consider other offers. I'd rather sell it here than on Ebay.

Software installed under Win64 includes:
Boinc 7.6.33
TeamViewer v11
Process Lasso
MSI Afterburner

Software installed under Linux Mint 17.3 includes:
Boinc 7.4.22 (which supports remote gui without host ip and max project concurrent)
TeamViewer v11
Nvidia Cuda and OpenCL GPU crunching on the 750ti

Just roll it down the stairs, it probably won't damage it.

What's even worse is the stuff is arriving today so I can upgrade another machine (MB & RAM). But I'm not allowed to BLT - bend, lift, twist so I won't be able to do the upgrade for a couple of weeks. That's going to kill me =))

Come on now. I wasn't trying to dig at Sphynx. I'm actually envious. I wish I had retirement somewhere in sight. And those things are heavy. shiva's system, all boxed up, weighed in at 46 pounds.

I'm sure you can find a way. "honey, could you put this on the table for me? Honey, could you take out these screws? Could you snap this in there? Honey, could you carry this down stairs?"

well it is here, and I slid it down the stairs. the way it was packed I probably could have rolled it down and not hurt it. one hell of a good packing job. :)

It's cheap to upgrade those Xeon 56xx CPU's too. Ebay has plenty of listings for matched pairs of them
