On 29 April 2017 14:06:48 UTC, PrimeGrid’s PPS Mega Prime Search project found the Mega Prime: 609*2^3392301+1 (http://primes.utm.edu/primes/page.php?id=123380) The prime is 1,021,188 digits long and will enter Chris Caldwell's The Largest Known Primes Database (http://primes.utm.edu/primes) ranked 205th overall. The discovery was made by User “jimmy (https://www.primegrid.com/show_user.php?userid=467057)” of Belgium using an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790 @ 3.60GHz with 12GB RAM, running Microsoft Windows 10 Core Edition. This computer took about 1 hour 36 minutes to complete the primality test using LLR. The prime was verified on 30 April 2017 11:22:53 UTC by Randall Scalise (Randall J. Scalise (https://www.primegrid.com/show_user.php?userid=8634)) of the United States using an Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4590 @ 3.30GHz with 8GB RAM, running Linux.
