On 10 August 2017, 18:14:53 UTC, PrimeGrid’s PPS Mega Prime Search project found the Mega Prime:975*2^3419230+1 (http://primes.utm.edu/primes/page.php?id=123834)The prime is 1,029,294 digits long and will enter Chris Caldwell's The Largest Known Primes Database (http://primes.utm.edu/primes) ranked 199th overall. The discovery was made by Eric Eskam (Doc No (https://www.primegrid.com/show_user.php?userid=33689)) of the United States using an Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad Q6600 CPU @ 2.40GHz with 3GB RAM, running Microsoft Windows 10 Professional Edition. This computer took about 4 hours 47 minutes to complete the primality test using LLR. Eric is a member of the Heinlein Fans (http://www.primegrid.com/team_display.php?teamid=4222) team.The prime was verified on 10 August 2017, 18:58:22 UTC by Stephen Draycott (Stephen Draycott (https://www.primegrid.com/show_user.php?userid=294094)) of the United Kingdom using an Intel(R) Xeon(R) E5-2670v3 CPU @ 2.30GHz with 64GB RAM, running Microsoft Windows 10 Professional Edition.
