new posts arent new

Not sure I understand the issue? When I post to a thread, after a second or two, it takes my to my (new) post in that thread automatically.

But then after reading my new post, when I click "new posts", of course that thread does not show. There is nothing new in it that has not already been read by me. So it is not "new".

Me too. Doesn't show anything I already read. Kinda liked the way it used to be, but change is inevitable.

bingo. ya pretty used to the old way. whenever i hit "read new posts" the post i just made also should show up.

Maybe in the future, we could get "recent posts"? That would show them linear from most recent.

Probably the easiest way to get that to happen is to search for posts from the past 1 day (you can currently do this using the search function).

Alternatively, search the net and VBulletin pages for styles that incorporate this in there. Installing a new style is a relatively easy admin task, while making substantial edits to VB is not...

The current set up works for me. If I need to look at a thread that I recently posted to, I just click on "MyProfile" at the top, and then "Find all posts" on the left.
