On 3 December 2017, 20:54:51 UTC, PrimeGrid’s PPS Mega Prime Search project found the Mega Prime:1065*2^3447906+1 (http://primes.utm.edu/primes/page.php?id=124047)The prime is 1,037,927 digits long and will enter Chris Caldwell's The Largest Known Primes Database (http://primes.utm.edu/primes) ranked 210th overall. The discovery was made by Juan C. Toledo (Meithan West (https://www.primegrid.com/show_user.php?userid=482172)) of Mexico using an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz with 8GB RAM, running Linux. This computer took about 1 hour 48 minutes to complete the primality test using LLR. Juan is a member of the UNAM – Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (http://www.primegrid.com/team_display.php?teamid=2011) team.The prime was verified on 3 December 2017, 22:23:34 UTC by Lucas Brown (LucasBrown (https://www.primegrid.com/show_user.php?userid=52589)) of the United States using an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz with 64GB RAM, running Linux. This computer took about 48 minutes to complete the primality test using LLR.
