Opti Apps

There are optimized apps for RakeSearch that make a huge difference - 5 to 10X improvement. They are located HERE (https://github.com/sirzooro/RakeSearch/releases/tag/v1.0)

For AMD CPUs that support AVX2 use the opti that has avx2nopext in the name. Apparently there is an issue with the AMD implementation of AVX2 that keeps them from performing well with some AVX2 commands.

Just download the file you need, unpack it, and place the 2 files into your rakesearch project folder. Then stop/restart BOINC and you are good to go.

Does anyone know if their is a need for Opti Apps on the current version of RakeSearch?
The ones I had appear to be no longer compatible.

It's all built into rake 10 so you no longer need them.

The new Opti apps are giving my production a nice boost! Too bad I'm only a few days away from my 100M goal :p These would have been nice a month or two ago :D
