Hello to all from AT Hiker.

I am an old guy who enjoys running Prime Grid work units and decided to run some PPS (Sieve) work units as part of the SETI.USA team.

I have some computer questions involving a BOINC xml file which I will post to the appropriate forum when I have an opportunity.

Meanwhile best to everyone from Alabama.

Al

Welcome! Where in Alabama? Roll tide?

If I understand AL sports culture, there's a segment of the population for whom that's worse than being called an ethnic slur... =))

Subject change....Close observation of calculating times for PPS (Sieve) while running 2 wus per GTX970 revealed that it is slightly faster to run only 1 wu per gpu. I have a pair of GTX 970 cards so if you are running 2 or more wus with a single GTX970 card YMMV.

Welcome - one of my hosts has dual 980Ti’s - after the Petathalon we could do some benchmark comparisons.

I would think a 980Ti would run circles around either of my 970s. At least that is what PrimeGrid reports on the page of fastest GPUs.
