AMD's new Radeon VII series is out now. The part that matters for us:

Stock speed 1400 MHz): 11.136 TFLOPS FP32 and 2.784 TFLOPS FP64

Boost (1750 MHz): 13.824 TFLOPS FP32 and 3.4585 TFLOPS FP64.

This makes the new VII nearly equivalent to 3.5 7970's for FP64. Insanity.

Edit: Oh, and it has 16GB of VRAM :D

Micro Center still has some Sapphire and XFX Radeon VII in stock in some stores for $699+tax. It's in-store purchase only but you can reserve them online.

Too bad there isn't a MicroCenter within 200 miles of me. Nor do I have $700 burning a hole in my pocket. :))

Who wants it? $760+shipping (~$20) which is cost for me. Ship to US only. It's this model...http://www.sapphiretech.com/productdetial.asp?pid=653DD044-C784-46AC-AFF4-84881431E725&lang=eng

if no takers in the next 24hr, it goes up on Ebay.

No takers so far. I just had my brother buy two with the intention of offering one to someone else at cost, or selling on ebay for a quick hundred or two.

I'd love to have one but it's a bit much all at once right now. Tax return mainly went to vehicle repairs :( Would love to see some testing results :D

I would like to have one too, but I have decided that the amount of money I have spent on this little hobby sense 1999 is getting crazy. I think I will take the 700 bucks and invest it in a new gun, at least it will still be worth something in 3 years.:)

In reality, it did 309 WUs and logged 65k cr in an hour. It might do a little more once pendings start going valid.
