High plains desert to the east of me, and the Sierra Nevada mountains to the west of me. Time to explore!

nice toy, you will have fun in that.
Don't let Dr. Pop anywhere near it Z, he'd drool all over it =))
All I wanna know is what it gets for a RAC... :))
That neighborhood sure seems to have filled up quick.
NICE! Always been a Jeep fan...miss my old CJ7, but rebuilding the '46 Willys CJ2A in the garage now. Maybe we could meet up and go wheeling someday if I ever tow it out to Vegas again. Did that two years ago and met my uncle there with his CJ for a couple days of wheeling. :)

Whelp, it's been 250 miles, and the undercarriage is all scraped up. :D
Also, the Sierras below Lake Tahoe are just spectacular.
What a fun day!

what you have damaged the paint already. :) sounds like you are putting it to good use.
Betcha there's a bit of brown rubbed into that yellow too. :) Maybe even a share of green.
Woah, that is an intense color. Looks like a load of fun.

It’s called “Hellayella”. :D
Nice Jeep! We've been in the process of getting a new car for my son to drive when he gets his license next month. Was a tough one as we wanted something fun, but also safe and we wanted to have a lot of the modern safety features. Thought about a Wrangler for a time, also a Grand Cherokee, tried a Chevy Blazer, then a Camry XSE and also an AWD Dodge Charger GT (as we currently have a Dodge Journey and a Charger ScatPack). Settled on this and picked it up this past tuesday. It's a Subaru WRX Limited.

That's a big upgrade from my first car...a 1972 Chevy Nova with a 307 engine. Good choice though! They have a great safety record and the WRX has a great Fun Rating. ;) We love our Subaru, though it's a bit more mundane Outback.

I bought my wife a new outback in 2008, and she is still driving it. I have tried to get her to go get a new one but she doesn't want to. I think the 08 is a little slicker looking than the new ones. guess I should be happy she doesn't want a new one. she has gotten it up to 60,000 miles now. they are good cars.

I beg to differ. Late 80's cherokee with the chevy 2.6L engine was hot garbage. that motor would overheat if you looked at it wrong and had no overheat tolerance. My dad killed 5 motors in the same jeep.

TRVTH.
However, I think we all try to ignore the automotive dark ages. There were very few automobiles worth remembering during that time...
