View Full Version : Storm Survival
I thought we might get an outage on the websites yesterday given the severe storms and tornadoes which we got here in Raleigh, NC.
But we only had two brief flickers of power which is fine as the UPS's handle that with ease.
Bad storms though, they think 24 dead here. Tornado was only a few miles from my house...

My turn: Storm last night knocked out power for about 18 hours. When I was in my car, I heard on the radio that my town was one of the hardest hit in the area. Not because of any damage, just because we have a crappy power grid and 85-90% of the town was without power.
Anyway, with power back up and stable for nearly 5 hours, I decided to turn things on again. Only 7 babies were harmed during this blackout. All entirely out of boredom.

Use the bats. They clear out lots of babies at one time.

Take a drive from Villonia to Conway Arkansas some time. You'll see more storm shelters than houses.
Glad to hear everyone's OK.
