Storms for NC this afternoon

Though the outlook is better than 24 hours ago, some bad storms are headed into NC later this afternoon. Widespread power outages are predicted. Since our forums are hosted out of NC we may have some forum and Free-DC downtime. Hopefully it will be short lived.

We're supposed to have winds up to 50 mph today. Lucky my cable lines are underground as well as the power lines from the pole to my house. Haven' had am outage since an idiot took out the pole a couple of years ago.
