This is what needs to happen here in the States. Sony siting "Security Concerns" is a total crock of s....t.

Not to revive a dead thread, but did anyone actually submit a claim for the PS3 OtherOS removal class action lawsuit?

I submitted one a while back, used to use the ps3 for gpu grid back in the day.

Me too. That was my first 1M project, because of of the PS3.

I submitted my claim - the OtherOS function was one of the main reasons I went PS3 over XBox when I was deciding. And ditto - GPU Grid was my first 1M, but did quite a bit of PG, Yoyo, and Primaboinca.
