A tornado tore up a High School three blocks away from me last night. I didn't realize how close it was til I got to work today and was told the high school lost its roof. It went just north of my house onto the Air Base. Maybe we should have went to the crawl space after all.

We're expecting more of the same tonight.

Villonia got leveled, nothing left but storm shelters.

What part of Arkansas are you in? I have friends who live in Glenwood, Southwest of Hot Springs.

I think I'm getting the north end of part of the same storm system. We've had nothing but tornado warnings and severe thunderstorms for the past week. Weird stuff. Glad you're not caught in the tornado path, trigggl.

I'm in Jacksonville. I live just south of the LR Air Force Base, just south meaning my neighbor's yard borders it.

It's a training base for C-130's. They do stop-and-goes all day everyday (it seems like) at the air base (over my house) and at the airport (where I work).

Coincidentally, the tornado went onto the base and made a huge mess of the living areas. Many cars were overturned. But, the airplanes were tied down well enough that none of them were damaged.

Love the Hercules's. The real workhorse of the military. Funny thing is, they look bigger on TV.

They look tiny on the inside with 65 guys in it, man I don't miss those things but your right they will go everywhere and do anything, They fly them to Antarctica hell they fly them threw hurricanes.
