Use MT
Each task uses 9.2mb of cache. Run as many tasks as will fit in your CPU's cache. For example, if your CPU has 8 real cores and 16mb of cache, run a single 8-thread task. If the CPU has 24mb of cache, run two tasks with 4 threads each. Etc.
