This is LLR2, so HT/SMT just hurts production. Just use real cores. Also, AVX-512 really helps.
Each task uses about 21mb of cache. Unless your CPU has a 42mb+ of cache, you want to just run a single MT task using all the real cores.
And yes, you can run these tasks on The Science Cloud. If you do, select the 12-core w/ AVX-512, running a single task per instance. That costs about $4/day.
