I certainly hope so. DNETC used to be quite reliable as far as credits were concerned. Moo! on the other has still has not settled down. I just disconnected from it for it gave me BSOD's on two machines running HD5870's x2 and the credit is not what it used to be.

They're still working on getting their servers up and running again, but they said workunits should start rolling out soon.

Anyone know why I lost 300,000 credits yesterday on DNETC when I'm not even crunching it? I just checked today and I lost another 10K! WTF?

They are restoring from backups. Not sure how recent those backups are from the date the server was confiscated.

:ar! The backup is from 4th April as is in the message of your first post in this thread. :)
I have great news for you we are back. We didn't get our server back yet, but we have HDD with all backups.
Now I'm restoring project from backup I think it will take about 1 day so we should start sending wu's tomorrow afternoon. Backup is from 4th Aprli 2010 23:30 CEST so there will be some point loss :( (Server was turned off about 16:30 CEST 5t Aprli)

Looks like they got the credits straightened out now. I lost about .5M. Not that big of a deal. Less than a day's worth.
Speaking of credits, do you remember when the Moo man dropped them to 5 and everyone complained and said the "real" DNETC paid 8.05 credits per stats unit? He raised them to 7 and said he wouldn't go to 8.
Guess what, with the real DNETC coming back Moo raised credits to 8.5 per stat unit tonight :D It now pays better than the old DNETC!
Niiice...so we *did* get a bidding war of sorts for our services. ;)
I've always thought that if everyone refused to crunch the lowest paying projects, they would be forced to up their credit to attact crunchers.
Good thing the 5870 is on this already! Way to go Moo! :D

Do you think this will mean that my two 5870's running Moo will be able to beat my two 460's running PG? Or at the very least stay in the running? The two 460's were putting out 650k per day.

It may be that it applies to only new tasks created. Or maybe he hasn't made the change yet.
Just ran my first DNET wu. Moo packets are taking 1.5 times longer to finish than DNET on y two 5870s. That suggests DNet will be the bigger credit maker.

Agreed - I think you'll find several people here with that line of thinking...
I have a bunch of WU's completed no valadation yet though. I may swing back to MW till they do. Don't want to waste CPU cycles. Let me know if you get valadation.:p

I cannot agree more. Sadly, I had some Emails back and forth with "the man" there, and it appears not much is going to change soon there...if ever.:(
Ah...I would so like to do 1M there, or even 500K, but with the way they run it, I just may be stuck at 340K forever. :p

The problem is not the lunch is how it gets there. I have a lot of foreigner friends since I worked abroad a lot as sound engeneer. So after receiving friends in Portugal now I know very well what people like. Mainly fish and other seafood. The most interior in Portugal is at 200 km / 120 milles. So if you stumble in any place of the country you only stop in the ocean. Here goes a small taste of Portugal. The first is one my videos and The second video I made the sound.

I am not showing any credits on BOK's site either but I am almost positive that I am still getting the credits. Check DNETC web site.

I see them on the DNETC site and BAM as well. I'm not sure why Bok (which is the only "real" site to check) is not show the increased credits.

He might have disabled the updates for DNETC in his "Fix" of the credits. I'm sure once it stabilizes, he'll turn it back on. Unless he was raptured...

Now for a warning. This may be just a one time occurrence but had a WU hang on me and it was on the 12+ hour mark when I found it. :mad:
Now a question: It has only been down (for me) for a couple of hours yet I have less then a third of my normal credits for the day (it is the end of the day for me). Anyone else having credit problems with this project?

According to my stats, I'm not seeing any problems other than "Error during Download" errors. There are not enough of these to cause me to be alarmed about it.
I haven't looked at my individual computers in a few days now, but all seems to be running well.
