WOW..Now I'm really jealous. I want a couple of those. Not the roof, just the GTX 590. That will give some people a run for the money. Sure eases the stress level too. :D:D

OMG!!! Sweet!! I should just add you to the Million Stones club right now.\m/ That card will put out about 1.4 a day all by it's self. Oh yea, nice roof too. =))=))

I think you should have skipped the roof, bought several more 590s, and called it "water cooling" when it rains...:p

How do you like the roof? What's the price compared to shingles? I need a new one soon.

Nice job on both counts! Is that a tin roof? If you painted it white, it would be more Summer friendly.

Love the roof!

Its a Standing Seam Galviluminum which will never rust and is 100% sealed with no screw holes to form leaks.. Im quite excited.

Cost wise, it was a no brainer. Shingles were coming in around 3800 bucks, metal roof came in at 4500 for a roof that lasts easily if not well beyond twice as long as shingles.

And looks good =)

Look at it like this....That roof should outlast your lifetime. It should also outlast the lifetime of the next owner. If, by chance, the next owner is intended to be someone you know, son, daughter, or other family member that you plan to have inherit the home, they should be paying you for 50% of the cost NOW, because it will outlast them also and they will never have to replace it. :)

Followup question: Is there an insurance deduction or lower deductible from it? With my insurance, there's a penalty for the age of the roof.
