With most images that I post, I either use direct links (which sometimes requires right-clicking an image (in FF) on a website and listing the image detail information) or hosting the image myself via imageshack.us.

Wait. If the source is a link, then it shows full size. But if it is uploaded here, then it shows as a thumbnail. So the difference in behavior is caused by the forum software? It should be the same behavior for both, regardless of the source. Who can fix this?

Personally, I think it should be full size for all.

We limit the size of attachments so the server doesn't get bloated full of gigs of pics. The best way is to host the picture externally and show it via link.

So what process are you using?
I use the BB Code "" tags with the URL in the middle since the URL can be from any site. So use the img tags and your done. For images you have uploaded as forum attachments, when you click on any image on your list, that image details page will have two urls at the bottom right hand corner. The first is a direct link and the second is BB Code.

By the way. Not to make this a Summer Glau thread, but she also appears in four episodes of the recently canceled SiFi show Alphas as Skylar Adams, a mechanical/electronic genius alpha that can invent and decipher equipment at will.

It seems that if Summer appears in a SiFi series, it gets canceled. The show Alphas got to run for only 2 seasons. Netflix carries them at the moment.

Now back to our regularly scheduled program.

I loved that movie. I delayed watching it forever because i thought it was going to be some lame cliche-filled flick about some loser teenagers dressing up as silly superheroes trying to fight low-end crime and only being successful due to pure luck or the idiocy of the criminals. Boy was i wrong! What a great movie :-bd

I loved that movie. Ditto here. Chanced upon a review from the people over at HD Nation/Tekzilla. The whole staff were all raving about the flick so I had to check it out.

We dont expect that the guns start solving crimes in the near future maybe later, around "Robocop 200" DrBackJack.

It is difficult for me after the argumentation that people is guilty of crimes and not guns, say that guns will solve the crimes, I thought for now that role is with people and unfortunatelly not with very good results.

Doc that is lawyers talk and I have a sentence about that:
"Use your gun to solve crime and punish the guilty, shoot a lawyer ... if you have no lawyer at your disposal shoot a Judge" :o
