It's a fan! With lots of LEDs! Bright and obnoxious. No particularity significant specs otherwise.

Sounds as though it uses magnets for mounting, (did I read that right?) and uses USB power (because it's designed for use OUTSIDE the case), but could be used inside as well.

So long as your case is made from steel, mounting shouldn't be a problem. I'd think that one could secure it with screws also.

With a price tag of $20 bucks and a life expectancy of 100k hours (10 years), I'd pay the price for that alone. Forget the rest of the bling.
